Unsung Stories
PERSONAL STORIES SHARED ON SCREEN BY CHINESE AUSTRALIANS
UNSUNG STORIES celebrates our Chinese Australian community by sharing stories from their lives, in their own words. We asked for stories, your stories, that have the power to affect and influence other Australians and give rise to greater understanding and goodwill between us all, as an inclusive and multicultural nation.
We want to make our country a better place for everyone who calls it home – both those who are born here and those who have joined us from overseas. Sharing personal stories helps us understand each other, shows us what we have in common, creates connection between us and brings us closer together as a community.
We invited anyone who identifies as Chinese Australian to record themselves telling their story directly to camera. Entries could be as short as 30 seconds or up to 10 minutes long, and needed to be submitted as a video file.
Share your personal story with us and help to transform the hearts and minds of Australians of all backgrounds, to make our country a more unified place for everyone.
