FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA (Brisbane)

AACTA is pleased to invite you and a guest to a special screening of FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA. The film, directed by George Miller and starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, revisits the dystopian world Miller created over 40 years ago.

Dive into the world of Furiosa. As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. As the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she seeks the means to find her way home.

FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA is directed by George Miller and written by Miller and Nico Lathouris. The cast includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. The film is produced by Miller and Doug Mitchell under their Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.
