RABBIT PROOF FENCE dir. Philip Noyce 2002. Commentary with Philip Noyce, aided by members of the cast and crew.
Based on a true story, three young Indigenous girls who, after being forcibly removed from their mothers in 1931, escape from a mission settlement in order to find their way home. They make their journey by way of the ‘rabbit-proof fence’, which once stretched the length of Western Australia.
